NEIGHBORHOOD GARAGE SALE

Date: Sept 18th - 20th 
Time: 8am - 5pm

This year's garage sale will give you the opportunity to participate in 1, 2, 3 or all 4 days. Here are some important details and best practices to ensure a successful and safe Creekside garage sale experience:

• Location and Setup: Please set up your garage sale in your driveway or garage to ensure easy access for shoppers. Make sure your items are neatly organized and clearly priced. Consider using tables or racks to display items effectively.

• Advertising: Creekside will have a banner draped over our south monument off of Nall Ave, and have our metal signs posted throughout the community. In addition to this email, feel free to spread the word about the garage sale in your networks. You can post about it on social media platforms like Nextdoor, or Facebook.

• Safety First: While garage sales are exciting, safety should always come first. Keep your pets indoors during the sale, and ensure clear pathways for shoppers to navigate. It's also a good idea to have someone else present during the sale to assist with transactions and keep an eye on things.

• Payment Options: Consider accepting various payment methods such as cash, Venmo, or PayPal to accommodate different buyer preferences.

• Remaining Items: At the end of the garage sale, consider donating any unsold items to local charities or thrift stores. This is a great way to give back to the community and ensure your unwanted items find a new home. It also helps reduce waste and keep our landfills small.
